Where You Will Work

This position is located in Herndon, VA.

What You Bring

Flexwind is looking for a full-time experienced Automated Tester with Software Developer knowledge to support customer with creating regression and automation tests against APIs.

Responsibilities

• Work autonomously at times and collaborate with the balance of the development team as required.
• Perform both automated and manual testing of newly developed web-based software.
• Perform regression testing on legacy software.
• Document any bugs or deficiencies found during testing.
• Follow existing test cases and create new cases to support new software APIs.
• Perform accessibility testing, rating the applications and create the documentation necessary to resolve any known issues.

• Use Accessibility Standards and Tools to ensure the software is compliant with the customers accessibility standards.

Required Qualifications

• Must have a TS security clearance with Polygraph.
• Experience testing APIs and performing back-end testing.
• Demonstrated proficiency in UI testing.
• Demonstrated experience and ability to write thorough test procedures.
• Experience testing Linux applications.
• Experience with back-end testing, and testing APIs.
• Knowledge on submitting request commands from the command line or using a tool to do so.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with Selenium.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with JMeter, GitHub, and/or at least one of the following development languages: Java, Python, Bash, Curl, XML.
• Experience with a developer IDE such as Eclipse or IntelliJ.
• Experience testing in an AWS environment.
