Systems Integrator
Flexwind is looking for a full-time, experienced Systems Integrator to support our client’s mission goals and strategic objectives, maintaining responsibility for the performance of relatively large technical programs in accordance with contract requirements, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise support resources for the performance of project assignments and activities.
- Manage the technical direction of the project through the design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives.
- Responsible for all aspects of the development of implementation of assigned projects and provides or serves as a single point of contact for those projects.
- Develop and operate a variety of technical systems related to the specific job function.
- Assist management with establishing the strategic direction of the team.
- Define project scope and objectives and drive initiatives to achieve established objectives.
- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
- Gather and vet requirements for development and/or system engineering efforts, ensuring the requirements are complete, unambiguous, and concise.
- Prepare schedules for milestone briefings and project documentation (e.g., detailed work plans, project estimates, resource plans, status reports, Standard Operating Procedures, Protocols, and other technical documentation).
- Facilitate internal and external communication with stakeholders and prepare briefings for appropriate stakeholders.
- Track project commitments and ensure timely preparation of responses.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables.
- Manage the integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables.
- Provide technical and analytical guidance to the project team.
- Recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solution of problems.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.
- 12-15 years of experience with a BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field, 10-13 years of experience with an MS/MA, or 7-9 years of experience with a Ph.D.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work rapidly in a high-paced environment that often requires multitasking.
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
- Ability to create, sustain, and enhance the fostering of team dynamics and collaboration.
- Strong customer service and teaming skills; ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
- Working knowledge in MS Office, MS Project, and SharePoint.
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of RF systems.
- Hardware development or systems engineering experience or having worked in that type of organization.
